Recycling
Weka Peckers Recycling is here to help you minimise your impact to our environment by reducing your waste to landfill in a viable and sustainable way. Our mission is to continually increase the diversion of waste and thereby reduce the carbon emission caused by landfill sites. At the same time we work towards creating a circular economy in Tasman through our deconstruction service and partnerships with other manufacturers and recyclers in the region.

Food & Beverage Containers
We accept your opened, flattened and cleaned Food & Beverage Cartons, like TetraPak, SIG and waxed milk and yoghurt cartons. We send them to saveBOARD where these waste products are turned into low carbon wall linings, ceiling tiles and other building materials.
A bit about us.
Weka Peckers Recycling is a family-run reuse and resource recovery business in Tasman. Merv and Ricarda purchased the business at the end of October 2020 and have moved the focus back to reducing and diverting waste from landfill to recycle, reuse and repurpose instead.
